Stocksbridge Town Council
Stocksbridge Town Council work in partnership with larger authorities, organisations and community groups to improve and increase the amount of work that is done locally to regenerate the whole area.

Member of Parliament
The MP representing the Stocksbridge & Deepcar communities is Angela Smith (Labour). Angela was elected as the Labour Member of Parliament for the Sheffield Hillsborough Constituency at the 2005 general election.
The constituency is largely made up of a series of villages and towns from Stocksbridge on the North West, Walkley in the South and High Green in the North. A third of the constituency lies within the boundary of the Peak District National Park.
